Prospective students

We welcome Ph.D. students, master’s students, and postdoctoral researchers interested in computing, optimization, and design automation. Students with backgrounds in computer science, integrated circuits, mathematics, and related fields are encouraged to get in touch.

Research interests

For Fall 2027, areas of interest include:

• EDA algorithms: physical design, logic synthesis, and high-level synthesis
• Computer architecture, accelerators, and compilers
• Computing-in-memory circuit design
• Efficient training and inference for large models
• Physical simulation and device-aware design

Programming and algorithmic experience are useful, as are backgrounds in circuits, numerical simulation, or computer architecture. In your introduction, tell us about a project or question you have enjoyed working on.
